Red Shrimp

This dark thick sauce blends with the flavour of the shrimps creating an intense distinctive dish.


Ingredients

  • 300 gr of Shrimp
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp of Salt
  • 1 tbsp of Paprika
  • 1 tsp of Tabasco
  • 1 cup of White Wine
  • 1 cup of Vegetable Stock
  • 1 tbsp of Parsley

Peel and slice the onion. Heat the olive oil and fry the onion until it is translucent. Chop the garlic finely and add to the onion. Cook for 2 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook until it becomes bright pink. Add the paprika, stir and pour in a bit of the vegetable stock. Let it simmer for a few minutes. Add the wine and wait until it boils. Add the tabasco and let it simmer slowly until the wine starts to evaporates and the sauce thickens.

Shrimp and Baby Potatoes Stir-Fry

Few ingredients and a simple cooking process but so amazingly tasty you will want to do it all the time. Great for packed lunches or picnics.


Ingredients

  • 300 gr of Shrimp
  • 250 baby Potatoes
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 Coriander Bunch
  • 2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 1 pinch of Pepper

Boil a pot of water seasoned with coarse salt. Cook the potatoes for 10 minutes. Remove from the water and let it cool down. Add the shrimp in the boiling water and cook for 5 minute. Drain and peel the shrimp and reserve. Peel the garlic and slice it. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the garlic and bay leaf. When the garlic becomes golden add the shrimps. Stir often for about 5 minutes. Add the pototoes and season with salt and pepper. Stir for another 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and sprinkle with chopped coriander.
